Mormon Church Cuts Deal: Now Exempt from Conversion Therapy Ban

Utah Governor Gary Herbert has announced that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS or Mormon) will now support the state’s ‘conversion therapy’ ban it had opposed earlier this year.

“Conversion therapy” is a loosely defined term used by media, politicians, and LGBTQ activists to discredit any therapy that claims to modify or change a person’s sexual behavior, i.e., from homosexuality to heterosexuality.

“These ‘therapy ban’ laws effectively kick the clients out of the driver’s seat of their own therapy and put politicians in the driver’s seat, instead. The government shouldn’t be deciding what people should do with their sexuality. Politicians have no business telling people their therapy goals are illegal. Nor do they have any business telling people that they, the politicians, know “who the client really is” and that the client’s legitimate identity must inevitably be ‘gay.'” — Dr. Joseph Nicolosi Jr.

Mormon leaders decided to support the ban after Herbert and Utah’s legislators “carefully tailored” the rule exempting LDS mental health therapists from it.

The newer version of the regulatory rule exempts LDS “clergy members or religious counselors acting in a religious capacity, or…parents or grandparents who happen to be a mental health therapist if they are talking to children or grandchildren.”

“If radical LGBT activists were so concerned about unethical practices in therapy, they would seek to ban therapeutic methods, like any method that uses shame, pain or coercion to try to change someone’s sexuality. … But that’s not what they’re doing. They’re actually outlawing treatment goals … to decrease one’s unwanted same-sex attractions in the privacy of one’s own therapy.” — Dr. Joseph Nicolosi Jr., clinical director, Breakthrough clinic

Although the Mormon Church opposes “same-sex marriage” and teaches that homosexuality is a sin, it denounces conversion therapy as abusive and supports banning the practice.

“The media and politicians have been using the term “conversion therapy” for any therapy that claims to modify sexuality from homosexuality to heterosexuality. But they’re not telling the full story. The term “conversion therapy” is broad, ill-defined, there’s no ethics code, no governing organization. The rule would ban Utah’s non-Mormon therapists from practicing conversion therapy on LGBTQ minors.

“[E]veryone has the right to walk away from sexual practices that don’t work for them. [However,] if those feelings are homosexual in nature, then it’s not OK to walk away. People have the right to leave the homosexual lifestyle for any reason. America’s politicians, media, and LGBT advocates don’t understand or respect that desire for self-determination and individualism, the values that built this nation.

“Many hard-left proponents of identity politics hate the truth that sexuality isn’t set in stone. They approach the topic of sexuality from the political, non-scientific premise that it can’t change, that is to say, if you have these attractions, you are forever part of an oppressed minority group and it’s now your permanent identity, so all you can do is accept it. LGBTQ advocates, who’ve tried for years to ban what they call conversion therapy in Utah, praised the leaders of the Mormon Church for their crucial support of the ban.

The Church’s support was essential because the state’s governor, its majority of lawmakers, all six members of its congressional delegation, its two U.S. Senators, and nearly two-thirds of its population are Mormon.

Utah’s conversion therapy ban will undergo a 30-day public comment period beginning Dec. 15 and will take effect January 22, 2020.

They’re often based on the outrageous unscientific notion that biological sex can change but an individual’s thoughts and feelings cannot. Based on the American Psychological Association’s false claims that reparative therapy aka conversion therapy is unscientific and harmful to mental health, eighteen states, plus Washington, D.C., have now banned the therapy for minors.

What most people don’t know is the American Psychological Association (APA) stopped relying on science as the foundation for mental health diagnoses in 1973 when homosexual activists began pressuring and attacking APA committee members to change what disorders appear in the organization’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

Chick-Fil-A Caves to Gaystapo: Stops Donating to Christian Charities that Support God-Ordained Marriage

Chick-fil-A has reassessed its “philanthropic partnerships” and will no longer donate to Christian charities that oppose “same-sex marriage.”

“There’s no question we know that, as we go into new markets, we need to be clear about who we are. There are lots of articles and newscasts about Chick-fil-A, and we thought we needed to be clear about our message.” — Tim Tassopoulos, Chick-fil-A President and Chief Operating Officer

Chic-fil-A will no longer donate to the Salvation Army, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Paul Anderson Youth Home or other Christian charities that support God-ordained marriage, i.e., the joining together by God of a man and a woman to become one flesh .

From now on the “Judas company” (a company that betrays Christ while pretending to follow Christ) will donate to gaystapo-approved charities.

According to the company’s November 18, 2019, press release, the Chick-Fil-A Foundation will give $9 million in 2020 to Junior Achievement USA and Covenant House International and will shift its support to causes such as education, homelessness, and hunger. Also included in the company’s new initiative is a $25,000 donation to the local food bank in the community where a new Chick-fil-A opens.

In June of this year, a Manhattan Chick-fil-A restaurant was vandalized during a sodomite pride parade. The gaystapo mob sent a tolerance-and-love message to self-identified Christian businesses nationwide.

The words “F**k haters” were written on a red “X” taped to a window and a sign was placed at the front door with the words, “LOVE is a terrible thing to waste.”

It’s quite telling that the glaring irony is completely lost on them.

Austin School District Mandates Anal Sex Instruction for Students

Todd Starnes reports the LGBTQ movement has officially taken over the Austin, Texas, Independent School District. According to Starnes, district’s trustees voted on Tuesday October 29, 2019, “to implement a pornographic sex education policy that includes instruction on anal sex and how to place a condom on an erect penis.”

The school district will also instruct students to use gender inclusive language and to avoid using words like “mother” or “father,” which refer to only male or female identities.

In addition, elementary and middle school students will be taught how to bypass parents to get abortions or birth control pills.

The overwhelming majority of the more than 100 citizens who spoke at Monday night’s district meeting voiced opposition to the sex education policy.

Those who spoke in support of the policy included a nine-year-old fourth-grader, the parent of a transgender second grader, someone who identified as “they/them,” (as in “my name is Legion: for we are many”) and a female wearing a t-shirt with the words “I met God. They’re queer, y’all.”

It was clear from the outset that most of the trustees had made up their minds before the debate began. Many of them had LGBT and Transgender flags on their desks.

According to Austin ISD spokesman Scott Thomas, the school board voted unanimously to pass the new Human Sexuality and Responsibility curriculum because a survey of family student primary contacts showed overwhelming support for it.

However, only 10.5% of family student primary contacts actually responded to the survey, which means nearly 90% of family student primary contacts did not voice their opinion on the new curriculum.

Thomas did not respond to a Daily Caller request for comment as to how the survey could be representative of the population when nearly 90% of family student primary contacts did not respond to it.

Obviously the Austin school district is recruiting little boys and little girls for the gaystapo. The relevant question now is what are the parents and the community going to do about it?

Why Are the Social Media Giants So Afraid of This Commentary?

“GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION” NOT REQUIRED

Back in the day when leftists masqueraded as liberals, they’d often say, “I do not agree with what you have to say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it.” Although the aphorism’s meaning was lost on them, it reverberated within their “echo chambers” and gave them the pretense of magnanimity, which they seemed to relish at the time.

Today the leftists have bolted from the closet and have abandoned all pretense of embracing the protection of free speech. They’ve taken off the mask of liberalism, and discarded it along with their “cherished” aphorism. Now they are leading the effort to squelch freedom of speech, demanding that ideas and opinions they deem insensitive and hateful be censored and silenced on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Being hardcore leftists themselves, the CEOs of these social media giants have been more than happy to comply with their wishes.

First Stormfront, a white nationalist, white supremacist, neo-Nazi group lost its web address of more than two decades beginning the “crackdown against hate sites.” Whimpers chimed over the Internet, but not many on the right gave serious attention to what was happening. Next the social media giants collectively set their sights on Alex Jones, which garnered more attention and brought their assault on free speech to the forefront. Although they saw Jones as an easy target, he was the proverbial “canary in the coal mine” (albeit more Kuku than canary) warning Americans that the social media giants had joined forces and were out to purge the Internet from politically “inappropriate” ideas and “offensive” speech.

But the giants weren’t concerned because they viewed Jones as the tin-foil hat poster boy for offensive, insensitive, and hateful speech. They surmised that the mainstream conservative and evangelical opinion-makers would show little sympathy for Jones and wouldn’t make much noise about the violation of his free speech rights. And they guessed right because few of the mainstream talkers and pundits on the right voiced any genuine concern for what was happening to Jones.

As they say, the camel doesn’t stop once its nose is under the tent, so the social media giants went after more undesirable voices that they considered low-hanging fruit. They banned Dennis Prager, Franklin Graham, some lesser-known Christian ministries for posting “unsuitable” content on their platforms. And now it’s become a daily occurrence as more and more evangelicals, conservatives, classic liberals, and patriots are rounded up and shadow-banned by Twitter, censored by Facebook, and terminated by YouTube for expressing ideas and opinions that the giants claim violate their community standards regarding bullying and hate speech.

America needs a kid who’s good with a slingshot because the lauded movers and shakers and heralded opinion-makers with the loudest voices and biggest megaphones on the right are either intimidated, afraid, or controlled and won’t stand up and fight the giants. They know what’s been going on, yet they constantly promote the social media giants’ platforms on their shows, encouraging people to join the platforms and to like and follow them when they go there. They’re appeasers feeding the giants hoping to be the last ones censored and banned.

Conservatives, classic liberals, evangelicals, and patriots on social media find themselves on the horns of a dilemma. If they continue to express contrary thoughts, ideas, and opinions, they will be purged. If they self-censor and stop posting and tweeting their “offensive and hateful” thoughts, ideas, and opinions and go along to get along, some social media friend, social justice warrior, or LGBTQ and sometimes Y-stapo member will uncover something offensive they tweeted or posted years before they got their mind right and they’ll be given a strike or a time out or some other childish reminder that failure to communicate means time in the box.

Yet something must be done to halt the attack on free speech and to keep the giants from purging all their political and religious enemies from their platforms under the pretense of promoting inappropriate ideas and expressing offensive speech. Although the solution may prove to be easier said than done, it will solve the problem, and it doesn’t require government intervention.

If the majority of account-holding conservatives, classic liberals, evangelicals, and patriots on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube would en masse join the giants’ competitors such as Gab, USA.Life, and Brighteon.com and ask their friends on social media to join them there, it’s likely Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube would backpedal their censorship and revise their speech code guidelines and community standards.

If the U.S. Constitution, the First Amendment’s freedom of speech and conscience clause, and the Founders’ belief in God-given rights and individual liberty mean anything to conservatives, classic liberals, evangelicals, and patriots in this country, this proposed solution will be easier done than said. What’ll happen next only God knows. “I didn’t come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it’s going to begin. … Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.”

FORMER APA PRESIDENT REVEALS HOW HOMOSEXUAL ACTIVISTS BULLIED APA INTO REMOVING HOMOSEXUALITY FROM LIST OF DISORDERS

Former APA President Reveals How Homosexual Activists Bullied APA into Removing Homosexuality from List of Disorders

In 1970 homosexual activists began a program of intimidation aimed at the American Psychiatric Association (APA):

“It was never a medical decision—and that’s why I think the action came so fast…It was a political move…That’s how far we’ve come in ten years. Now we even have the American Psychiatric Association running scared.” Barbara Gittings, Homosexual Activist

The following year, 1971, homosexual activist Dr. Franklin Kameny wrote an open letter to the Psychiatric News threatening the APA with more and even worse disruptions:

“Our presence there was only the beginning of an increasingly intensive campaign by homosexuals to change the approach of psychiatry toward homosexuality or, failing that, to discredit psychiatry.” Franklin Kameny

Members of the “National Gay Task Force” managed to get the addresses of APA members, and with-out identifying themselves, sent out harassing letters to all members demanding they vote to remove homosexuality from the list of mental illnesses in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM), the APA’s classification guide for mental disorders.

No new fact, set of facts, or scientific breakthrough triggered the removal of homosexuality from the list of mental illnesses in the 1974 seventh edition of DSM-II. It was dishonesty and intimidation by homosexual activists that moved 32.7 percent of APA’s total membership to approve the change and normalize homosexuality.

Against the wishes of two-thirds of the organization’s members, homosexuals were “cured” overnight by a vote. A psychiatric disorder that had been classified as a mental illness for 25 years (1948-1973) was suddenly banished by vote, by fiat, but not by valid science or by evaluating the pathology or lack of pathology surrounding homosexuality.

Dr. Cummings is a former President of the American Psychological Association (APA). He introduced the motion to declassify homosexuality as a mental illness to APA’s Council of Representatives.

DISNEY CHILDREN’S MOVIE PROMOTES HOMOSEXUALITY

Disney Children’s Movie Promotes Homosexuality

Disney’s remake of its children’s film “Beauty and the Beast” has a modern makeover with an updated socially progressive subplot. The film includes an “exclusively gay moment” scene between villain Gaston and his main sidekick, LeFou.

The gaystapo’s relentless effort to sway the masses to adopt its homosexual agenda has now reached critical mass and is seriously damaging young children. Disney has joined with the gaystapo to promote a lifestyle characterized by promiscuity, instability, and serious health effects to children.

Engaging in homosexuality was once considered by society to be a sinful, shameful, degenerate act, but now it doesn’t raise an eyebrow; it’s just 1 of the 12 sexual orientations listed on OKCupid.

Throughout history roughly 2 percent of women self-identified as lesbian or bisexual; today, nearly 15 percent of young women and girls self-identify as lesbian or bisexual.

“When teenage girls feel free to engage in blatantly sexual behavior with each other, we can be sure that some major boundary of sexual morality has been gravely damaged. The natural attraction between girls and boys has been so confused by public celebration of homosexuality and the various eroticisms of everyday life, that young people are now confused about something as simple and basic as heterosexual identity.”— Albert Mohler, President Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Recent studies have found that half of the United Kingdom’s young adults and a third of America’s young adults said they aren’t “100 percent heterosexual.” It was also found that the older a person is the less likely he or she is to have engaged in same-sex activity.

The homosexual a.k.a. LGBTQ community is growing larger all the time. Most Americans are clueless about how kids’ movies and television shows have been indoctrinating children to accept homosexuality. The X-Men movies have been doing it for years. The movies are an allegory about homosexual culture and homosexual rights, and the mutant superheroes are “stand-ins” for homosexual, lesbian, and transgender people.

The endgame for Disney and 20th Century Fox goes far beyond social acceptance. They want children to embrace homosexuality as normal and desirable.

In other words, “Beauty and the Beast” and the X-Men movies are propaganda films meant to indoctrinate children, corrupt their morals, and entice them to experiment in homosexual sex. And based on the exponential rise in homosexual and bisexual behavior among millennials and younger people, it seems to be working quite well.

Judge Who Jailed Kentucky Clerk Has History of Imposting Homosexual Agenda in Public Schools

The federal judge who held Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis in contempt and ordered her to jail for refusing to sign marriage licenses has on two occasions denied Christian students in Kentucky public schools their First Amendment rights by ordering them to undergo re-education training promoting the homosexual lifestyle against their religious objections.

In 2003, Federal District Judge David Bunning ordered Boyd County education officials to implement training, which mandated school staff and students undergo diversity education principally “devoted to issues of sexual orientation and gender harassment.”

A number of students objected to being forced to watch a gaystapo propaganda video denouncing Christian views that opposed homosexuality as wrongheaded and proclaiming homosexuality as a safe, healthy, and fixed lifestyle that cannot be changed.

When it was discovered that students would be punished if they didn’t undergo the training their parents brought in the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) legal organization, which sued the Boyd County Board of Education.

In 2006, the gaystapo tool was back at it. Once again he tried to force Christian students to watch a gaystapo propaganda video promoting the homosexual lifestyle, and denying Christian students the ability to opt-out of the indoctrination training. Bunning ruled that an opt-out was unnecessary because the training didn’t mean that students would have to change their religious beliefs.

Bunning’s decision was overturned in October 2007 by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. The Court ruled that a Christian student could seek damages from the school district because the training Bunning imposed had “chilled” the student’s ability to express his Christian beliefs about homosexuality to his fellow students.

Facing enormous media pressure, boycotts from Apple and Wal-Mart, and the threat of businesses and factories leaving the state, Indiana’s “Repussican” governor, Mike Pence, a.k.a. Michelle Heartpence, revised the state’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) to promote the homosexual agenda and homosexual bullying.

“The revised language … forces Christian bakers to bake cakes in violation of their faith and conscience,” said Bryan Fischer, American Family Association

Heartpence’s changes to Indiana’s RFRA erode the freedom of conscience for Christian business owners in the state and mark a major step in promoting special, protected rights for homosexuals.

“What was designed to defend people of faith against being discriminated against and bullied will, instead …force people of faith … to disobey God or face government sanction,” said Matt Barber, founder and editor-in chief of barbwire.com

Democrat governors Andrew Cuomo of New York and Dannel Malloy of Connecticut, who had banned state officials from traveling to Indiana in an effort to show solidarity with the homosexual agenda and opposition to Indiana’s religious freedom law, applauded Heartpence’s capitulation to the Gaystapo and lifted their bans on Saturday.

The sad irony is that a law originally designed to protect Christian business owners from bullying by the Gaystapo now forces Christians to submit the Gaystapo’s agenda or face prosecution and punishment by the state.

And the band played on.

BEN CARSON IS NOT PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL

Ben Carson Is not Presidential Material

Potential 2016 presidential candidate Ben Carson apologized Wednesday for saying homosexuality was a lifestyle choice.

Wednesday morning on CNN’s “New Day” show with Chris Cuomo, Ben Carson said:

“A lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight — and when they come out, they’re gay. So, did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question.”

Wednesday afternoon in a post on his Facebook page Ben Carson wrote:

“I do not pretend to know how every individual came to their sexual orientation. I regret that my words to express that concept were hurtful and divisive. For that I apologize unreservedly to all that were offended.”

Later Wednesday afternoon Ben Carson appeared on Sean Hannity’s radio show and said:

“I simply have decided I’m not going to really talk about that issue anymore, because every time I gain momentum, the liberal press says, ‘let’s talk about gay rights.’ I’m just not going to fall for that anymore.”

During a January 22, 2015, interview with YouTube personality GloZell Green, Hussein (peace be upon him) said:

“I think people know that treating folks unfairly, even if you disagree with their lifestyle choice… Let them live their lives and under the law they should be treated equally”

So both Hussein and Carson violated the gaystapo’s edict that all Americans must believe there’s no choice in sexual orientation. Both black men said that homosexuality is a “lifestyle choice,” yet Carson felt compelled to apologize for violating the gaystapo’s diktat, while Hussein remains unapologetic to this day.

The homofascists have had their way with Carson and have completely discredited him. His anti-2nd amendment stance on gun control took the wind out of his sails, and now this latest mea culpa to the gaystapo leaves him dead in the water. It’s obvious that Carson lacks the backbone to respond with moral conviction and courage against those who promote such a disease ridden, dysfunctional lifestyle.

Clearly, Carson is not presidential material; and were he white, the political pundits would not be talking about him or be paying him any mind.

To quote Homer Simpson, “Let’s file this under R, for arrivederci.”
