On April 19, 2020, Dr. Ngozi Ezike, director of the Illinois Department of Public Health, clearly explained how COVID-19 deaths were being counted in her state.
Ezike’s explanation shows how COVID-19 related deaths are being over counted and publicized by mainstream media outlets. Federal, state, and local governments put forward the inaccurate and inconsistent COVOID-19 data to justify their lockdown and business closure decisions.
Illinois isn’t alone in manufacturing misinformation and false COVID-19 data. Public heath departments and hospitals in other states have adopted similar counting practices to inflate the number of COVID-19 deaths.
