Michael Enright charged with hate crimes for allegedly stabbing a Muslim cabbie in New York City.


Enright, 21, of Brewster, New York, volunteers with an interfaith group that supports peace and understanding and the Ground Zero mosque. He attends the School of Visual Arts and recently returned from Afghanistan where he had been filming a documentary about his high school friend’s tour of duty.

In this 4:38 video, union organizer and black liberation activist Governor Spencer assaults two Tea Party Patriots protesting in front Democrat Congressman Mel Watt’s office in Greensboro, North Carolina. To enhance the dialogue, Spencer pushed Nathan Tabor’s wife then sucker-punched Tabor in the face.

Tabor, a business owner and head of the Forsyth County Republican Party, filed assault charges but a black magistrate rescinded the arrest warrant and issued summons charging both men with assault even though the police officer at the scene testified that Tabor had not assaulted Spencer. The black magistrate refused to view the videos.
