Will the First Daughters Receive the H1N1 Shot?

Malia and Sasha Obama have not been vaccinated against the H1N1 flu virus.  White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs says the vaccine is not available to them based on their risk.

Currently, only children with chronic medical conditions whose immune systems are not strong enough to fight off the virus are being vaccinated.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that children from 6 months to 18 years of age get the H1N1 vaccination.

For many parents the biggest drawback to getting the vaccination is the mercury-containing preservative thimerosal, which has been used in vaccines and other products since the 1930s.

The H1N1 vaccine can include thimerosal, but the CDC insists that there is no scientific evidence to suggest that the preservative in low doses causes anything except for redness and swelling at the injection site.

The CDC also insists that no link between thimerosal and autism has been proven scientifically, a conclusion widely disputed by the National Autism Association and other non-profit organizations.

School systems have been notifying parents to return consent forms quickly for their child to receive an H1N1 vaccination during school clinics. Students will be able to get the vaccine unless they have underlying medical problems.

The CDC wants the public to know that a regular seasonal flu shot will not protect against the H1N1 virus.

Will Brother O subject his own children to the “benefits” of the H1N1 vaccine, or will he follow in the footsteps of committee Democrats, who exempted themselves from enrollment in the public option, and go on to opt out his kids from taking the vaccine while promoting it as beneficial for average Americans?

Time will tell!

Seizing Power on the Weekend

by Nancy Matthis at American Daughter

Late Friday, Barack Obama declared the H1N1 virus to be a national emergency. He announced the measure on Saturday. The declaration gives him the following authority:

93d Congress
SENATE Report No. 93-549
1st Session

These proclamations give force to 470 provisions of Federal law. These hundreds of statutes delegate to the President extraordinary powers, ordinarily exercised by the Congress, which affect the lives of American citizens in a host of all-encompassing manners. This vast range of powers, taken together, confer enough authority to rule the country without reference to normal Constitutional processes.

Under the powers delegated by these statutes, the President may: seize property; organize and control the means of production; seize commodities; assign military forces abroad; institute martial law; seize and control all transportation and communication; regulate the operation of private enterprise; restrict travel; and, in a plethora of particular ways, control the lives of all American citizens….

Whenever the government wants to do something that is likely to be alarming or unpopular, it is done late on Friday night, so that the normal news cycles can be avoided. The fact that Obama did this late on a Friday night and did not announce it until the following day, a Saturday, should be sufficient warning to every American that this administration is up to no good.

Most citizens are unaware that the Constitution has long since been effectively set aside by a series of Executive Orders, which grant the sitting president sweeping dictatorial powers. As far as personal freedom is concerned, we have been living on borrowed time.

Another thing that most folk don’t realize is that elected officials have had a plan to protect themselves against armed insurrection by an outraged populace when the situation is discovered. On March 13, 2008 the U.S. House of Representatives held a secret closed door meeting, with attendees sworn to secrecy. Ostensibly to work out Electronic Surveillance of Terror Suspects, the meeting actually dealt with the possibility of civil war in the United States. Here are the details which were leaked and widely published, not in the mainstream media, but in the Blogospehre:

  1. The imminent collapse of the U.S. Economy to occur sometime in late 2008
  2. The imminent collapse of the U.S. Government finances sometime in mid 2009
  3. The possibility of Civil War inside the United States as a result of the collapse
  4. The advance round-ups of “insurgent U.S. Citizens” likely to move against the government
  5. The detention of those rounded up at The REX 84 Camps constructed throughout the United States
  6. The possibility of public retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses
  7. The location of safe facilities for members of Congress and their families to reside during massive civil unrest
  8. The necessary and unavoidable merger of The U.S. with Canada and Mexico establishing The North American Union
  9. The issuance of a new currency called the AMERO for all three nations as an economic solution.

There is little indication that Barack Obama wants to continue the Bush-initiated pursuit of the North American Union. However, it is abundantly clear that he wants to abolish personal freedoms and private enterprise to institute socialism, with a focus on an eventual global world government.

This declaration may be the trigger. And, suspiciously, it is not made in response to any actual data. CNN Health reports:

Calling the emergency declaration “an important tool in our kit going forward,” one administration official called Obama’s action a “proactive measure that’s not in response to any new development.”

Another administration official said the move is “not tied to the current case count” and “gives the federal government more power…”….

Are the sheeple prepared to succumb?

Anglicans Poised to Enter the Roman Catholic Fold

The Rt Rev John Hind, Bishop of Chichester, has announced he is considering becoming a Roman Catholic in a move that could spark an exodus of Anglican clergy. The move comes after secret talks between the Vatican and a group of senior Anglican bishops.

The Rt Rev John Broadhurst, Bishop of Fulham, declared that “the Anglican experiment is over”. He said it has been shown to be powerless to cope with the crises over homosexuals and women bishops.

Conservative archbishops and bishops have broken ties with their liberal counterparts following the US Episcopal Church’s consecration of Gene Robinson, the first openly homosexual bishop.

Bishop Hind said that he is willing to defect to the Catholic Church because the divisions in Anglicanism could make it impossible to stay.

Bishop Hind is the most senior Anglican to admit that he is prepared to accept the offer from the Pope, who, in one of the most significant developments since the Reformation, shocked the Church of England last week when he announced that a new structure would be set up to allow disaffected Anglicans to enter full communion with Rome, while maintaining parts of their Protestant heritage.

Bishop Broadhurst said that the Pope’s offer came in response to Anglican pleas of despair at the disintegration of the Church. Clergy at the Forward in Faith conference expressed relief that the Pope had provided them with an escape route.

Fr Ed Tomlinson, vicar of St Barnabas, Tunbridge Wells, said that he would be following the lead of Bishop Hind. Hundreds of traditionalist clergy could join the exodus, though most are waiting for the exact details of the new apostolic constitution.
