Swiss Officials Mandate “Sex Boxes” for Kindergarten Classrooms

NOTE: I apologize to Sweden and my readers for the mistake I made in this piece. The schools with the sex-boxes are in Switzerland, not Sweden. I’m under time constraints, so I’ve been writing two pieces at the same and really screwed up on this one. Please accept my sincere apologies for such shoddy work; it’s inexcusable. If you decide my creditability is zero after this, I understand. But if you do decide to come back, I will do my best to make sure that something this egregious never happens again on this site.

This school year in Basel, Switzerland, kindergartners will get to experience the pleasure of their sexuality with a “sex box” filled with models of human genitalia.

Teachers will use the fabric models of human genitalia to administer sex-education lessons to 4 to 10-year-olds. The mandatory sex-ed curriculum suggests that teachers play soothing music in the background while they teach children how to massage each other and how to use warm sand bags to rub themselves.

Although thousands of parents complained to education officials about the mandatory program, officials have dismissed their complaints saying they would change the name of the program, but wouldn’t stop the sex-box kit from being distributed in the classroom or exempt children from the lessons.

Children lack the cognitive ability to be sexually aware until they go through puberty. Five-year-olds cannot consent to sex because they are cognitively incapable of giving or withholding meaningful consent. According to Thomas Steffen, a school doctor in Basel, sex education “is a problem that only adults have.” Obviously Jean Piaget’s biological stages of cognitive development have little sway in Switzerland.

This is a growing fad in Europe. In Norway, kindergartner teachers wanted their students to “explore each others sexuality” emphasizing touching of the penis, vagina etc.
Of course, it didn’t fly and they were labeled pedophiles. Kids ages 4 to 10 DO.NOT.NEED sexual education nor do they need to touch themselves. This is just sick and must have come from a very depraved individual.
I think you should retract this false, made up article. The FDP, aka The Liberals, belong to the European Liberal Democrats it is true, but they are, in American parlance, conservatives, kind of close to tea party. Very federalist, wanting more independence for cantons, low taxes, anti socialist. Liberalism in the old sense of the word. So already this is an odd story.

You must use the weapons Jesus gave to us to properly battle the enemy. No where do I find the “Blood of Jesus” to be used as a weapon, and no where for a shield of protection. (If you find it in the Bible let me know) His Blood is powerful for the washing away of our sins.
Our weapons are: The name of Jesus, The Word of God, Prayer and Praise. And of course faith in all of the above. Then too it is a good thing to fulfill the 1st. and 2nd. Commandments given in Mat. 22: 36-40 before seriously challenging the enemy.

I have never been more upset over an article than this one. God help and protect our little ones from these disturbed people. As a teacher, I would rather lose my job than to follow this curriculum.
Basel i s in Switzerland, not Sweden. I’m swedish and have children in both kindergaarden and in public school, I’ve never heard about this. Very very sick.. smells like pedophile stuff if you ask me! I plead the blood of Jesus over the children!
Have you seen the pictures of the objects in the sex box. No wonder more kids will lean towards the penis since the vagina looks grotesque as if there is spot with blood in it. Pay attention to the fact that Basel is in Switzerland and not in Sweden. Is this a sign that this is a false claim? Whatever the reason for such an error and reason for this posting, it seems that the vagina is to be abhorred while the penis to be more accessible. A child sees that as blood and that something is wrong. Really gross idea.
If this is allowed to happen, those Swedish kids will grow up with a healthy view of their own bodies, a less neurotic approach to sexuality, and a less destructive attitude towards relationships. They may even channel aggressive tendencies away from fighting and crime and use that libidinal energy to love each other more. THE HORROR! THE HORROR! Such a disgusting society must be not be allowed to develop! If young men have healthy sexual attitudes, they may be less inclined to give their lives over to corporate forces, or military interventions that send them to die and kill 5000 miles from home for no good reason! Clearly, that would be the end of civilization as we know it! And this is a bad thing because….?

It reminds me of a miniseries on Nazi Germany I watched on the History Channel (when there weren’t showing fiction like The Men Who Killed Kennedy or Ancient Aliens). The Hitler Youth and Hitler’s Maidens(?) were like the Boy and Girl Scouts of National Socializm.
