Black Teen Girls Attack Woman Outside City Hall in Broad Daylight
By Jerry A. Kane
A pack of black teen girls attacked a young woman in broad daylight outside City Hall in the Old City area of Philadelphia. A surveillance video caught the unprovoked attack by the pack of black girls who walked up behind the woman, threw her to the ground, and began beating her.
“[T]hey were just hitting me there. I twisted and fell down and they continued to hit me and kick me … When I was in the air was when they got the first punch on my face that scared me[;] I’ve near [sic] been punched like that.”—white victim recounting the attack
Philadelphia’s black teen mob attacks have garnered national attention. The City of Brotherly Love has had at least 12 mob attacks by packs of black teens on bystanders since 2008.
“What we were after now was the old surprise visit. That was a real kick and good for laughs and lashings of the old ultraviolent.”—Alex DeLarge from A Clockwork Orange
