The left’s modus operandi (m.o.) has been to use a horrific tragedy to smear the opposition for political gain. And now it looks like they’re using the Norway attacks to smear Christians and conservatives as terrorists.

The alternative media are reporting that the words “Christian” and “Conservative” were added to Anders Behring Breivik Facebook page after the Norwegian mass murderer had been in custody.

So who tampered with the murderer’s Facebook page and why? And why did the jihadist group “Helpers of Global Jihad” initially claim responsibility for the Oslo bombing and youth camp massacre then later retract the claim?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Once again mainstream media propagandists have trumpeted a lie to attach blame to Christianity for a horrific terrorist attack. They added the Christian moniker to Oklahoma City Bomber Timothy McVeigh, and now they’re doing it again. Only this time it’s Norwegian terrorist Anders Behring Breivik who’s wearing the Christian fundamentalist moniker.

As it turned out, McVeigh was a self-proclaimed agnostic who lauded science as his religion, and now Breivik’s 1,500-page manifesto reveals that he is a Darwinian who does not pray, has doubts about God’s existence, and is not a Christian.

“As for the Church and science, it is essential that science takes an undisputed precedence over biblical teachings. Europe has always been the cradle of science, and it must always continue to be that way. Regarding my personal relationship with God, I guess I’m not an excessively religious man. I am first and foremost a man of logic.”

The media propagandists have desperately tried to tie Christian motivations to Breivik’s and McVeigh’s acts of terrorism. Even though the facts contradict the propagandists desperate attempts to slander Christianity, they won’t retract their false reports because they know that their lies will travel halfway around the world “before the truth can get its boots on.”

A report by the Defense Department’s Inspector General finds the 2010 Pentagon survey that was so instrumental in the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” (DADT) had been engineered and skewed to favor repeal.

“[E]vidence showed the source carefully disclosed specific survey data to support a pro-repeal agenda … to gain momentum in support of a legislative change during the ‘lame duck’ session of Congress.”

A November Washington Post article reported that 70 percent of military respondents said a DADT repeal would a have a “positive, mixed, or nonexistent” effect. But the truth is combat troops overwhelmingly opposed the DADT repeal, 44 percent to 11 percent. Troops with combat experience said the repeal would have a negative or very negative impact on troops in the field.

[O]ver twelve times as many Marine combat troops said repeal would impact unit readiness negatively as those who responded positively, while Army combat troops were six times more likely to be negative than positive.

In December, the Ruler and Defense Secretary Robert Gates used the Post’s false information to tell Congress and the American people that more than two-thirds of those responding to the Pentagon survey either favored or didn’t object to a DADT repeal.

“When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic.”—Dresden James

Newsflash for the Pundits: Analysts Have a Poor Collective Track Record

By Scott Ryan

Officials from Standard & Poor’s and other credit rating agencies told a gathering of Republicans this week that a default on the nation’s debt by the federal government could lead to a “death spiral” in the bond market.

We have enough tax revenue to make our interest payments so –not- increasing the debt ceiling should not lead to a default on the interest payments. The actual significance of what has taken place in this incident is being misinterpreted.

Pundits like O’Reilly, Kudlow, Charles Krauthammer and old guard Senators like James Coburn are championing the status quo. Krauthammer is contending that Republicans have “over played their hand” and “appear as unreasonable”.

The fundamental problem with all of their melodrama is they are all making the mistake of assuming that the proffered opinion of S&P and Moody’s is somehow an axiom. Nobody is asking the question, who are these people and –why- should we give their opinions automatic credence? I take issue with the very premise. The notion that our debt- should- be DOWNGRADED based upon the debt ceiling not being raised is erroneous at its core and here’s why.

The people at these ratings agencies are merely analysts with their own opinions and can be subject to their own personal biases like anyone else. One thing that I have found about financial analysts in my career as a Financial Advisor is that they are dead wrong at least as often as they are right. How soon we forget that many of these analysts slapped AAA ratings on CDO’s and CMO’s that were packed with tranches of pure garbage, liar loans. Most of the analysts all LOVED the general obligation municipal bonds that were recently hammered down in valuation. Several years before the meltdown, the municipal bond traders at a major global wire house told me that standard procedure was for these bond ratings agencies was to automatically slap a AAA+ rating on a GO bond if that state or municipality simply purchased an insurance policy from the muni bond insurers like MBIA & AMBAC. By the way, those insurers are not sound. One of the top bond insurers, AMBAC is now defunct and MBIA is weak at best. Most of these muni bonds trade steeply below their IPO prices in the secondary market and are being propped up along with the junk bond market by the Federal Reserve’s exceedingly low interest rate policy.

Sure, we could see a self-fulfilling prophecy where our bonds trade down on Monday after a week of apocalyptic rhetoric. But the major buyers of US Treasuries in the primary market now have MORE reason to bid the price of Treasuries UPWARD as a result. The indisputable fact is that thanks to the tea party movement, we have finally elected a group to congress who recognize the gravity of the situation and are willing to stand up to the demagoguery that has for decades led to the pitiful compromise that CAUSED this situation, which is appeasement of self-serving politicians who have raised the debt ceiling over and over and over again.

If the GOP led congress had capitulated and done what their predecessors have done for decades, follow the path of least resistance, they would have signaled to the world that we do not have what it takes to save this country from certain bankruptcy. We do not have TIME to make symbolic gestures with diminutive cuts and growth killing tax increases, Regardless of what some academic quants think at Standard & Poors, smart money, i.e. countries and entities who buy up tens of billions worth of US paper – should have MORE confidence than yesterday that we are going to be able to exercise the fiscal discipline requisite to maintain these obligations into the distant future. I maintain that despite the manipulative rhetoric of Barack Obama and Harry Reed, the outlook for Treasuries and the US dollar is much more positive today than it was yesterday as a result of Boehner walking away from business as usual.

The “smart money” do not make their commitments based upon the impetuous and prosaic reasoning of a Standard and Poor analyst. If prosperity truly was a corollary to reading an S&P report, the analysts at these agencies and the webmasters who publish the reports would be the wealthiest people on the planet because they get the “analysis” first. The strength of the US Treasury cannot be buttressed by Standard and Poors but rather the integrity of those who stand behind it.

Given the dismal track record of the analysts, I would no sooner solicit their subjective opinion on any financial instrument than I would that of an art or movie critic like Rodger Ebert. Ebert may be just as reliable. Concerning the scare tactics of the senate liberals, the last people I would listen to on fiscal matters is a group of elected ambulance chasers. The President would be much better suited to capitalizing on “slip and fall” victims. He and the rest of the lawyers should stick to that which they understand.

With the power of over-reaching government agencies like the SEC and a rogue Attorney General at his disposal, I can’t help but wonder what type of communication might be taking place between the Obama administration and executives at these ratings agencies that are profitable businesses in the highly regulated industry of Wall Street. “Just saying” – it might merit an investigation as the timing of their sudden proclamations could be perceived as somewhat peculiar.

As to the specious contentions of the establishment media pundits, they should be questioned as well. Krauthammer accusing them of “over playing their hand” (by not betraying us like they did before we lost our majority) – has a deceptive look of legitimacy because of the polls these pundits cite. In the same hour the pundits on Fox were was citing a poll that shows 60+ percent of Americans do NOT want the debt ceiling raised, these pundits cited a poll indicating that some 40%+ would “blame the Republicans if the debt ceiling isn’t raised”. Those two polls are actually somewhat consistent upon further reflection. The problem is that Krauthammer and the rest of the panel use their voice inflection to portray that as a NEGATIVE. If 60%+ of Americans DON’T WANT the debt ceiling to be raised – we should WANT the blame, especially if we actually BELIEVE in the cause which we advance!

As one who likes to consider the record thought processes of those whose opinions I take into account, below are some relevant highlights to compare to the opinions of the analysts with whom I have for years taken issue. Here is my warning from June 2002 about the next crisis being in the banking sector:

“I fear that the next crises will be in the banking sector…The disease is a different kind of cancer. It’s a seemingly inanimate form that is quickly devouring our foundation, which solely rests upon faith, character, morality and integrity. Independence Day is around the corner. Instead of having the nerve to sing the audacious request of ‘God bless America’ right after we formally proclaimed in our Government God, you have no place in America, perhaps we should get on our knees and sing ‘God forgive America.'”

And this time-stamped posting  from a third-party websiteone is from MrArbitrage Sept 21, 2001:

“If they decide to get suckered into that Keynesian philosophy and try to SPEND our way to prosperity, we are going to have to jack up taxes, which will be the final death blow to this economy.”

Here’s a recent example of what Wall Street analysts bring to the table in terms of expertise. One day after I came out with a Buy recommendation on Under Armour, Inc. common shares (UA), an analyst from the most historically revered firm, Goldman Sachs came out with a Sell recommendation:

2/23/2009 MrArbitrage initiates his BUY.

Goldman responds with a SELL: Under Armour-UA initiated with a Sell at Goldman 02/24 05:43 AM.”

Beautiful call Goldman.

Historical quote for: UA

Monday, February 23, 2009 (date of Goldman’s Sell rec)

Closing price: $14.12.

July 22nd: Share Price: $80.00

At Table Of Wisdom.com I have compiled years worth of other time-stamped, 3rd party, independent linked documentations of egregious analyst ratings along with my own detailed remonstrance.

The great Dr. Burton Malkiel has an excellent book titled A Random Walk Down Wall Street in which he expatiates on the track record of the analysts.  The book is a classic and was influential in shaping my outlook more than any other investment book author.  I highly recommend reading it.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS’s) new promotional video “See Something, Say Something” says volumes about how the agency views white middle class Americans.

In the 9:56 video, viewers are told that race does not determine whether or not someone is a terrorist, and yet almost all of the “suspicious activity” scenes depict whites as potential terrorists and the blacks, Asians, and Arabs who report them as concerned citizens.

No matter where you look, from East Germany, to Communist Russia, to Nazi Germany, historically governments who encourage their own citizens to report on each other do so not for any genuine safety concerns or presumed benefits to security, but in order to create an authoritarian police state that coerces the people into policing each other’s behavior and thoughts.”

Never forget it was a 2009 DHS report “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Environment Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment” that described opponents of abortion, illegal immigration, and big government as potential terrorist threats, and the Ruler’s former senior advisor David Axelrod who said the Tea Party movement was “unhealthy.”

Submit questions or concerns regarding DHS’ characterization of white people as terrorists to the House Appropriations Committee’s Subcommittee on Homeland Security. Subcommittee members include:

Republicans

Robert B. Aderholt, Alabama

Ander Crenshaw, Florida

Tom Latham, Iowa

Rodney P. Frelinghuysen, New Jersey

Charles W. Dent, Pennsylvania

John R. Carter, Texas

John Abney Culberson, Texas

The federal government has a spending problem, and some of its proliferate spending involves “institutional waste.” At a time when the nation is broke and headed for bankruptcy, the federal government’s National Institutes of Health (NIH) uses tax dollars for data collection to determine the effect of penis size on the sex life of a homosexual man.

[A]t least $9.4 million went to a 10-year study that included the penis-size research …

Hunter College used NIH grant money to produce the 2009 report, “The Association Between Penis Size and Sexual Health Among Men Who Have Sex with Men.” The report determined that homosexuals “with ‘below average penises’ were more likely to assume a ‘bottom’ sexual position, while those with ‘above average penises’ were more likely to assume a ‘top’ sexual position. Those with average penises identified themselves as ‘versatile’ in the bedroom.”

The study also found that well-endowed homosexuals enjoyed their lifestyle more but were a greater risk to contract certain sexually transmitted diseases.

Hunter College professor Jeffrey Parsons said the study was necessary to assess “the association between penis size and socio-sexual health” among men who have sex with men.

City leaders in Salinas, California, gave over half a million tax-payer dollars to a start-up company to build environmentally-friendly electric cars, but the heralded job creator closed up shop before any vehicles came off the assembly line.

The city’s mayor, director of economic development, and council members were all aflutter when Green Vehicles agreed to move its operation to Salinas. Mayor Dennis Donohue said the company would pave the way in creating jobs, and Economic Development Director Jeff Weir envisioned Salinas as the “electric valley,” the hub for alternative energy production.

“When I first ran for mayor, today is exactly what I had in mind for the future of Salinas.”—Dennis Donohue, Mayor of Salinas

But earlier this month, Green Vehicles President and Co-Founder Mike Ryan e-mailed city leaders with the news that the 70 new jobs and the $700,000 in annual taxes his company promised were gone, and so was the city’s investment money.

Donohue was “surprised and disappointed” by the news, and city officials were upset that Ryan had used e-mail to break the news.

City leaders are now frantically working with state officials to recoup some of the tax-payer money they wasted pursuing their pipe dream.

“You’re spending money where you shouldn’t be, you’re just handing it over. It doesn’t belong to you Mayor Donohue.”—Margaret Bonetti, Salinas resident

In a voice vote, the House Republicans passed an amendment to block the Energy Department’s new light bulb efficiency standards from taking effect next year. DOE’s new standards would require traditional incandescent light bulbs to be 30 percent more energy efficient.

Representative Michael Burgess’ (R-Texas) amendment doesn’t repeal the federal standards; it only keeps DOE from enforcing the new standards through September 2012. Unless Congress removes the regulatory language in the 2007 funding bill, the amendment will have to be attached each year

The amendment will likely pass the Senate and get signed into law because it’s a rider on the bill that funds all energy and water-development agencies.

The banning of incandescent bulbs has come to symbolize an overreaching, regulatory nanny-state. At least for now, the American people can choose the type of light bulb they prefer in their homes.

Both Democrats and the Ruler opposed the Burgess amendment.

Ohio lawmakers have introduced legislation that would direct federal and state tax dollars to state, county, and local health centers rather than fund abortion mills such as Planned Parenthood.

“This legislation will ensure that family planning dollars are spent in an efficient and ethical manner that prioritizes comprehensive care.”—Kris Jordan, state senator

Similar legislation has been adopted in Texas, Kansas, and Tennessee.

Scientists have discovered a new strain of gonorrhea that is resistant to all currently recommended antibiotics, and it could become a global public health threat.

The new “superbug” strain, called H041, cannot be killed by cephalosporin-class antibiotics, the last remaining drugs still effective in treating gonorrhea.

“[T]his bacterium has shown a remarkable capacity to develop resistance mechanisms to all drugs introduced to control it.”—Magnus Unemo of the Swedish Reference Laboratory for Pathogenic Neisseria

If left untreated, Gonorrhea can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy and infertility in women. The STD is most prevalent in south and southeast Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates the U.S. has about 700,000 gonorrhea cases a year.

Communist Party USA leader Sam Webb says that his party will continue to support the Ruler and the Democrat Party in 2012. Although Webb admits he’s disappointed with certain aspects of the Ruler’s domestic and foreign policy, he says he understands that the Ruler operates in a very hostile political environment where right wingers work overtime to wreck his initiatives every step of the way.

“Neither party is anti-capitalist, but they aren’t identical either. Differences exist at the levels of policy and social composition. And despite the many frustrations of the past two years, the election of Barack Obama was historic and gave space to struggle for a people’s agenda.

If … the Republicans had been victorious in 2008 the character of class and democratic struggles would have unfolded very differently. Our movement would have been on the defensive from Day One …”— Sam Webb, Communist Party USA leader

Yet, Glenn Beck, Jerry Doyle, and a gaggle of lesser known radio talk show hosts keep telling audiences that there’s not a dimes worth of difference between the two parties.

Eric Holder’s Justice Department allowed some “blue” states to disenfranchise military voters serving overseas during the 2010 mid-term elections. A report conducted by the Military Voter Protection Project (MVP) found that less than 5 percent of military personnel voted last year because DoJ failed to enforce federal law.

The 2009 Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment (MOVE) Act requires states to send absentee ballots to troops and their families at least 45 days before ballots are due. In the 2010 elections, 14 states failed to meet the deadline, yet DoJ filed suit against only some of them.

  • Illinois had 35 counties that violated MOVE provisions.
  • Maryland sent ballots for the federal elections but withheld ballots for the local elections.
  • New York tossed out one of every three ballots cast, even though the ballots arrived within the negotiated time frame.

The study also showed that other states counted 94.1 percent of the ballots, despite confusion in sending them out.

“The states didn’t have clear guidelines from the Department of Justice from the very beginning, even though the Department of Justice promised to provide those guidelines”—Eric Eversole, MVP founder and author of the report

Major League Baseball’s greatest moment occurred April 25, 1976, in Dodger Stadium, when Chicago Cubs outfielder Rick Monday snatched the American flag from two protesters who had bolted from the stands and were attempting to ignite it in centerfield.

William Thomas had put the flag on the ground, knelt down, sprayed it with lighter fluid, and was in the process of striking the match to set it ablaze when Monday dashed over, grabbed it off the turf, and ran with it in his hand to the third base line.

Authorities said Thomas and his 11-year-old son had attempted to desecrate the flag to draw attention to Mrs. Thomas’ internment in a Missouri mental institution.

Monday’s quick reaction prevented the desecration of America’s symbol of freedom. His action not only honored the American flag and every American citizen, but it also stands as a testament to what once was the great American pastime.
