AP has withdrawn its call for Democrat Dan Malloy as winner of the governor’s race in Connecticut. AP based its call on Connecticut Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz who declared Malloy the winner over Republican Tom Foley by 3,103 votes.
AP now shows Foley with an 8,424 lead over Malloy, with only 1.5 percent of the precincts remaining.
