“Given the religious nature and the emotional power of Leftist values, Jews and Christians on the Left often derive their values from the Left more than from their religion.”—Dennis Prager

Fundamentally liberals, progressives and Leftists in general hate Jesus, hate the Bible and hate Christians with a passion. They do so because it presents rival truth claims. They have their religion. The state is the “god” for Leftists, and any who dare disagree are blaspheming their “god.”

Why Obama Hates Easter

From elvisnixon.com

I.M. Kane of The Millstone Diaries writes of the attempt to eliminate Good Friday from our national conscience.

Did this act of intolerance and anti-Christian bigotry occur in San Francisco’s notorious Castro District? Fire Island? Key West? Boston?

None of the above.

This Stalinistic attempt at erasing history was perpetrated in Davenport, Iowa.

A taxpayer supported group ominously called the Davenport Civil Rights Commission has imposed its narrow-minded bigotry on the people of that middle-American city.

The apparatchik responsible is a petty bureaucrat named Craig Malin.

Just as no one in the managed “mainstream media” (MSM) asked the fundamental question “Why did the islamic jihadi known as the Underwear Bomber choose, of all days, Christmas day to attack the US?”  No one seems to see the acceleration of hate-filled anti-Christian bigotry subsequent to Mr. Obama’s asinine assertion while visiting Turkey last year that Americans no longer consider their country a “a Christian nation … but a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values.”

The Underwear Bomber chose to attack us on CHRISTMAS!  Maybe he didn’t get the memo from Obama.

Sadly, the extremists in Davenport, Iowa did.

I.M. Kane reports that this anti-Christian zealot  “…made the name change unilaterally, and then… sent a memo around to municipal employees informing them that Good Friday was now “Spring Holiday.”

“We merely made a recommendation that the name be changed to something other than Good Friday. Our Constitution calls for separation of church and state. Davenport touts itself as a diverse city and given all the different types of religious and ethnic backgrounds we represent, we suggested the change..,”

Of course, the Constitution calls for no such thing. The phrase “separation of church and state” is found nowhere in the U.S. Constitution. The concept is totally foreign to our foundational documents. Our Constitution and Declaration of Independence explicitly recognize and acknowledge our Creator God.

Making Obama’s de-Christianization dream come true seems to be the goal of the Davenport Human Rights Commission and Leftists everywhere. Why?

Because the state is a jealous god, the state can have no other gods, especially the True and Living God, before it. Doing so limits the powers of the state.

Dennis Prager makes the compelling point that

“…Leftism, though secular, must be understood as a religion (which is why I have begun capitalizing it). The Leftist value system’s hold on its adherents is as strong as the hold Christianity, Judaism and Islam have on their adherents. Nancy Pelosi’s belief in expanding the government’s role in American life, and therefore her passion for the health care bill, is as strong as a pro-life Christian’s belief in the sanctity of the life of the unborn.

Given the religious nature and the emotional power of Leftist values, Jews and Christians on the Left often derive their values from the Left more than from their religion.

Now, of course, most Leftist Jews and Christians will counter that Leftist values cannot trump their religion’s values because Leftist values are identical to their religion’s values. But this argument only reinforces my argument that Leftism has conquered the Christianity and the Judaism of Leftist Christians and Jews. If there is no difference between Leftist moral values and those of Judaism or Christianity, then Christianity is little more than Leftism with “Jesus” rhetoric added, and Judaism is Leftism with Jewish terms — such as “Tikkun Olam” (“repairing the world”) and “Prophetic values” — added.

But if Christianity is, morally speaking, really Leftism, why didn’t Catholics or Protestants assert these values prior to 19th-century European Leftism? And, if Judaism is essentially a set of Left-wing values, does that mean that the Torah and the Talmud are Leftist documents? Or are the two pillars of Judaism generally wrong? “

Fundamentally liberals, progressives and Leftists in general hate Jesus, hate the Bible and hate Christians with a passion. They do so because it presents rival truth claims. They have their religion. The state is the “god” for Leftists, and any who dare disagree are blaspheming their “god.”

This Easter please pray for the conversion of Obama, Pelosi and all of your Leftist friends and neighbors. They are bowing down before the pagan idol known as the state. They seek to silence the Truth because He is the sole source of light and darkness hates the light.  Pray for them. It’s their only hope.

The sign in the office window reads:

“If you voted for Obama … seek urologic care elsewhere. Changes to your healthcare begin right now, not in four years.”

Another sign in the waiting room reads:

“This [ObamaCare] is what the morons in Washington have done to your health care. Take one [a photocopy of the major provisions in the health-care package] read it and vote out anyone who voted for it.”

Three patients complained, but most have been “overwhelmingly supportive” of the doctor’s position.

Doctor tells Obama supporters: Go elsewhere for health care

By Stephen Hudak

A Mount Dora doctor posted a sign telling Obama health care supporters to go elsewhere.

A doctor who considers the national health-care overhaul to be bad medicine for the country posted a sign on his office door telling patients who voted for President Barack Obama to seek care “elsewhere.”

“I’m not turning anybody away — that would be unethical,” Dr. Jack Cassell, 56, a Mount Dora urologist and a registered Republican opposed to the health plan, told the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday. “But if they read the sign and turn the other way, so be it.”

The sign reads: “If you voted for Obama … seek urologic care elsewhere. Changes to your healthcare begin right now, not in four years.”

Estella Chatman, 67, of Eustis, whose daughter snapped a photo of the typewritten sign, sent the picture to U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson, the Orlando Democrat who riled Republicans last year when he characterized the GOP’s idea of health care as, “If you get sick, America … Die quickly.”

Chatman said she heard about the sign from a friend referred to Cassell after his physician recently died. She said her friend did not want to speak to a reporter but was dismayed by Cassell’s sign.

“He’s going to find another doctor,” she said.

Cassell may be walking a thin line between his right to free speech and his professional obligation, said William Allen, professor of bioethics, law and medical professionalism at the University of Florida’s College of Medicine.

Allen said doctors cannot refuse patients on the basis of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or disability, but political preference is not one of the legally protected categories specified in civil-rights law. By insisting he does not quiz his patients about their politics and has not turned away patients based on their vote, the doctor is “trying to hold onto the nub of his ethical obligation,” Allen said.

“But this is pushing the limit,” he said.

Cassell, who has practiced medicine in GOP-dominated Lake County since 1988, said he doesn’t quiz his patients about their politics, but he also won’t hide his disdain for the bill Obama signed and the lawmakers who passed it.

In his waiting room, Cassell also has provided his patients with photocopies of a health-care timeline produced by Republican leaders that outlines “major provisions” in the health-care package. The doctor put a sign above the stack of copies that reads: “This is what the morons in Washington have done to your health care. Take one, read it and vote out anyone who voted for it.”

Cassell, whose lawyer wife, Leslie Campione, has declared herself a Republican candidate for Lake County commissioner, said three patients have complained, but most have been “overwhelmingly supportive” of his position.

“They know it’s not good for them,” he said.

Cassell, who previously served as chief of surgery at Florida Hospital Waterman in Tavares, said a patient’s politics would not affect his care for them, although he said he would prefer not to treat people who support the president.

“I can at least make a point,” he said.

The notice on Cassell’s office door could cause some patients to question his judgment or fret about the care they might receive if they don’t share his political views, Allen said. He said doctors are wise to avoid public expressions that can affect the physician-patient relationship.

Erin VanSickle, spokeswoman for the Florida Medical Association, would not comment specifically.

But she noted in an e-mail to the Sentinel that “physicians are extended the same rights to free speech as every other citizen in the United States.”

The outspoken Grayson described Cassell’s sign as “ridiculous.”

“I’m disgusted,” he said. “Maybe he thinks the Hippocratic Oath says, ‘Do no good.’ If this is the face of the right wing in America, it’s the face of cruelty. … Why don’t they change the name of the Republican Party to the Sore Loser Party?”

Digital Signs Denouncing Obama May Be Coming to a Billboard near You

By Jerry A. Kane

Before Brother O and his Bread and Circuses regime can redistribute all the wealth, why not donate a few bucks or take a few grand of that hard-earned money and publicly denounce the underhanded socialists who are stealing it?  Well, that’s the upshot of ingenious idea from the group Billboards Against Obama.

The group has placed a series of ads on digital billboards outside Atlanta, Georgia, expressing disapproval of Brother O. One billboard is located at Spaghetti Junction and the other is along Peachtree Industrial on Interstate 85. The Spaghetti Junction sign reads, “Now It’s Personal! America’s Coming for You Congress! Vote Liberals Out in 2010″

The group, whose motto is “Be seen — be heard — before it’s too late!” offers signs with rotating digital displays from $2,500 to $3,500 a month at several locations throughout metro Atlanta. Interested parties can either design their own message or pick one of the three pre-packaged ones: “Stop Obama Socialism,” “If You’re Not Outraged You’re Not Paying Attention!” and the aforementioned “Now it’s personal.”

A spokesman for the group admitted that the Web site has received some negative feedback, but added that the site has received over 1,800 hits and contributions have been made to expand the program.

The group’s spokesman has declined to reveal the group’s identity or where it is based, but its Web site does provide an e-mail address for questions.

Currently the billboards are available in the Atlanta area only, but the group plans to expand to more markets soon.

Instead of donating to the RNC, people should contribute to conservative organizations that directly contact voters on behalf of Republican candidates.

“[W]hen you give money to the Republican National Committee, you’re wasting your money.

[F]rom … Election Day ’08 until now, the Republican National Committee has raised $101 million … “But they’ve spent $107 million … And that means before there’s an election, before they do any advertising, any voter content, any get-out-the-vote activity, they have wasted $100 million on overhead. …[T]hat’s the problem. … They shouldn’t be spending money on anything other than direct content with the voters”—Dick Morris

Dick Morris:  Donating to RNC ‘Waste of Money’

From Newsmax.com

Fox News commentator and bestselling author Dick Morris says the profligate spending under RNC Chair Michael Steele, spotlighted by the RNC’s “strippergate” scandal, indicates that “when you give money to the Republican National Committee, you’re wasting your money.”

He says donors should instead send money to other conservative organizations that directly contact voters on behalf of GOP candidates. Morris stops short of saying RNC Chairman Michael Steele should step down. Steele has endured harsh media criticism following the news that $2,000 of RNC money was spent, without his knowledge, at a bondage-themed nightclub in West Hollywood, Calif. But the real problem is the RNC’s entrenched bureaucracy, Morris says.

“They have a bureaucracy there, and consultants who are sort of getting used to being at the trough,” says Morris in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV’s. “The shocking statistic to me… is that from the beginning of this year’s cycle, which was Election Day ’08 until now, the Republican National Committee has raised $101 million — which is great.

“But they’ve spent $107 million, which is terrible. And that means before there’s an election, before they do any advertising, any voter content, any get-out-the-vote activity, they have wasted $100 million on overhead. And to me, that’s the problem. I don’t care where the nightclub is, I don’t care if they’re going to the Christian charity nightclub, as far as that’s concerned. They shouldn’t be spending money on anything other than direct content with the voters,” he says.

Morris, who serves as a pro bono strategist for the League of American Voters, another political organization that raises donations from conservatives, predicts that the image problems caused by the revelations won’t hurt conservative candidates.

“But I do think that what hurts them is that $100 million is gone, it walked out the door,” he adds.

Morris, the author of the soon-to-be-released “2010 Take Back America: A Battle Plan,” tells Newsmax that the key to winning back GOP control of Congress is to “make America understand that there is no such thing as a moderate or conservative Democrat.

“The Democratic majorities in the House and the Senate are built on Senators and congressmen who say they’re not real Democrats, who say they’re not liberals, they’re not following the Reid-Pelosi-Obama line, but in fact they are. And we need to debunk that myth and make clear to everybody who wants to be conservative that the only way to do that is to vote Republican.”

Another dynamic that will affect the outcome, Morris says, is voter anger over the recently passed healthcare reform legislation. He doesn’t expect that frustration will fade with time – in fact, quite the opposite.

“The anger will increase because they’ll be seeing all around them the consequences of this law,” Morris says. “In the last week, we’ve had evidence that Boeing is laying off 500 more people simply because of this law. AT&T has taken a $1 billion write down against their profits.”

He adds: “We are all going to see our health insurance premiums increase dramatically. And that will have the effect in many cases of losing jobs, or of employers denying everybody coverage, then paying the fines because the premium costs just go crazy.”

Other revelations from Morris:

The president’s decision to drop his opposition to expanded off-shore drilling was “terrific.” “It was really good, it took courage on his part. It might be the beginning of his moving to the center, adopting some of the lessons of my own tenure with Bill Clinton,” he says.

Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Mich., is in serious political trouble because his public flip-flop on the abortion language in healthcare reform. “I think Stupak is in danger because he acted so stupidly, if you’ll pardon the pun, right in front of the American voters,” Morris tells Newsmax.

The Obama administration is “deliberately humiliating” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in an effort to force him to accept more liberal partners into his governing coalition who could then be used to leverage further Israeli concessions with the Palestinians.

State Sen. Kim Hendren will “absolutely” defeat incumbent U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark., given that the latest polls show him with a comfortable 51 to 35 lead. “When a challenger is ahead of an incumbent they’re almost certainly going to lose, and when a challenger is over 50, it’s even worse,” Morris says.

In California, Republicans may win both the Senate seat up for grabs and the statehouse. Incumbent Democrat Sen. Barbara Boxer faces two tough GOP challengers in former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina and free-market economics professor and former congressman Tom Campbell. And former eBay CEO Meg Whitman has opened up a solid lead over perpetual Democratic candidate and former Gov. Jerry Brown for the governorship.

The Republican Party will recapture control of both the Senate and the House in this year’s midterms, Morris predicts.

The video below looks back a couple of years at the protests of radicals and their rhetoric that was either praised or ignored by the Democrats and their propagandists in the mainstream media. The media propagandists portrayed the protests against President Bush as patriotic exercises in free speech, while they portray protests against Brother O as un-American exercises in racist hate speech.

Too many Americans remain indifferent to the clear double standard being practiced by Democrats and their mainstream media propagandists.
